There is also our annual Taverners Road Trial. This is a popluar event with varied routes for all classes of bike, including a green lane route. This event will celebrate its 61st year this year.

Our group and volunteers provide a free, “out of hours” courier service to public health bodies in Leicestershire & Rutland between approximately  7pm and 6am Monday to Friday, with 24 hour cover at weekends and during public holidays.

We are not an emergency service but work with the hospitals to deliver their transport needs in an efficient and timely manner. Getting to the destination safely is paramount.

In addition we will collect donated breast milk and transport it to the Womens’ Hospital in Birmingham for processing and subsequent distribution to neo-natal units. (see seperate tab at the top of the page)

Here are some Taverners members at the end of our run out to deliver the cheque for £1000 we raised last year for Rainbows.
